Stepdown is thrilled to welcome Michael Morley to Te Matau-a-Maui for a performance of his acoustic drone project The Never Quartet.

One third of enduring Te Waipounamu sound purveyors The Dead C, and in his largely solo project Gate, Michael has been responsible for decades of gloriously destroyed song and sublime, righteous and ragged beauty. 

He will bring his 4-guitar ensemble (And their respective wooden perches and accoutrements - see second pic) from Kōpūtai Port Chalmers, to lay down some deep office ambience in the space downstairs at Stepdown.
